This page describes the method used to manage the website with regard to personal data processing of user data when consulting it. It refers to information made available that is also pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Code with regard to processing of personal data of those interacting with web services accessible electronically from:

The information only applies to the site in question and not to other websites that are accessed by the user via links.

The information is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001, which European authorities regarding protection of personal data processing, included in the Group established by art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, have, on 17 May 2001, implemented in order to identify certain minimum requirements to collect personal data online and, in particular, the methods, times and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of connection. The information also complies with the Provision issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority no. 229 dated 28/05/2014 (“Identification of simplified procedures for information and acquisition of consent for use of cookies”)

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

Processing related to web services of this website takes place at Casagrande Spa and is only handled by technical personnel of the data processing Department, or others in charge of occasional maintenance operations.
No data deriving from web services is divulged or distributed.
Personal data provided by users who forward requests to send information and/or informative materials (quotations, brochures, catalogues, CD-ROM, newsletter, annual reports, etc.) are only used to provide the service or supply requested and are only divulged to third parties if it is required for the said purpose.

TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data
Computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire certain personal data during their normal operation whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified parties, however, due to their very nature they may enable identification of the users via processing and association with data held by third parties.

IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters regarding the operating system and computer environment fall under this category of data.

This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information regarding use of the website and to control correct operation. This data is immediately deleted after processing. Data may be used to certify responsibility in case of hypothetical crimes against the site: except for this possibility, the status of data on web contacts does not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

Optional, explicit or voluntary supply of email address to the addresses listed on this website or completion of the inquiry form involves subsequent acquisition of the sender in order to respond to requests, and any other personal data included in the message.

Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed in the web pages dedicated to particular services on request.

COOKIES

No personal user data is acquired from the site.

Cookies are neither used to obtain personal information nor use any kind of the so-called persistent cookies, or systems for tracking users, or profiling cookies.

Use of the said session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) or other technical cookies is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated from the server) required to enable safe and efficient browsing of the site.

The said session cookies used in this site prevents use of other techniques that may prejudice the privacy of users and do not allow acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

Hereunder is a full description of the two main categories of cookies, and reconfirm that this site only uses technical cookies.

  1. Technical cookies.
    Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information company service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (cf. art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
    They are not used for other purposes and are usually installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (for example, enabling a purchase or acquiring authentication to access reserved areas); analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, the number of users and how they visit the website; functionality of cookies, which allow a user to browse the site according to series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user.
    Prior consent from the user is not required to install these cookies, whereas it is still required to provide this information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code).
  2. Profiling cookies.
    Profiling cookies are aimed at creating profiles regarding the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the user when surfing the net. Since the said devices can be particularly invasive with regard to the private sphere of the users, European and Italian legislation requires the user to be properly informed on their use and express their valid consent.
    Art. 122 of the Code refers to them when providing for “storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or a user or access to information already stored are only permitted on condition that the contractor or user has given his consent after being informed via simplified procedures provided for in Article 13, paragraph 3 ” (art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code). This website does not use any kind of profiling cookies.

OPTION TO TRANSFER DATA

Besides what has been specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data in application forms or indicated in contacts in order to request any information, material or other communications.

Failure to provide this information may result in it being impossible to fulfil the request.

You are reminded that in certain cases (not with regard to ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request information under Article 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 in order to control personal data processing. In these cases, reply is compulsory under penalty of a fine.

PROCESSING METHOD

Personal data is processed via automated instruments for the time strictly limited to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Specific safety measures are complied with in order to prevent loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised accesses.

RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES

Individuals providing personal data have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction (art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).

Pursuant to the said article, they have the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, as well as oppose their treatment in any case for legitimate purposes.
